OBITUARY. MRS. ALICE HEATH. Mr H.O. Heath, of Wagga, rec- ceived advice late on Tuesday night mat his mother, Mrs. Alice Heath, widow of Mr. Thomas Cornish Heath, died in Sydney on Tuesday. Mrs Heath lived in Wagga practically all her life, and for many years she re- sided at Lake Albert. Her husband1 predeceased her in 1879. There were seven sons of the mar- riage of whom four are still alive, being Mr. H. 0. Heath, solicitor, of the firm of Heath and Mitchelmore, Wagga; Mr. William Heath, who for many years was head master of the public school at Narandera and who is at present residing in Sydney; Mr Thomas Cornish Heath, junior, who for a number of years carried on busi- ness in Wagga as a stock and station agent with the late Mr. David Robert Irvine. and Mr. Bert Heath, solici- tor, who has been practising his pro- fession in Kobe (Japan) for many years. The three sons who pre- deceased her were Mr. Charles Heath, at one time manager of the Austral- ian Bank of Commerce, Wentwort: Mr. James Heath, who was manager of the Union Bank of Australia, Ltd., at Bunbury and other places in West Australia, and Mr. Archie Heath, an employee of Messrs, T Edmondson and Co., Wagga, for many years prior to leaving for Syd- ney. _ The deceased ladv. who ihad been i identified with Wagga and district for i nearly 50 years, was in her 83rd year, j She wa- an exceptionally capable woman, being well read, and in her j early days she was a school tcacber. ? he had been lingering for many ' months, and the end was quite ex- I peded.
